Detective assigned to the Kingston Central Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) seized a firearm on Gold Street, Kingston on Sunday, April 18.
Reports are that about 10:00 a.m., a team of officers was on an operation in the area when a premises was searched and one Carandai 9mm pistol, a magazine and forty-three 9mm cartridges were found in an abandoned structure.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Investigations continue.
