May 25, 2021- Twenty-two-year-old Avery Pryce, an office clerk of Greenvale Road, 9 Miles in Bull Bay, St. Andrew has been charged with Embezzlement in connection with an incident in 7 Miles, Bull Bay in the parish on Tuesday, May 04.
Reports from the Harbour View Police are that Pryce completed the sale of goods amounting to over 600,000 JMD. However, Pryce reportedly handed over $127,000.00 JMD to the complainant. Upon further checks, it was discovered that the amount handed over by Pryce did not amount to materials sold on the establishment.
On Thursday, May 20, Pryce was arrested and subsequently charged.
Pryce will appear before the St. Andrew Parish Court on Thursday, May 27.
