One firearm and several rounds of ammunition was seized on Premix Road, Papine in St. Andrew on Monday, October 19.
Reports from the Papine Police are that about 7:35 p.m., a police team that was on patrol in the area observed a group of men standing along the roadway. Upon seeing the Police, the men reportedly ran, leaving a shopping bag behind. The bag was retrieved and searched and one .38 Taurus Revolver with ten .38 rounds of ammunition was found.
Investigations continue.
