HANOVER MAN CONVICTED FOR BREACHES OF THE DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT ACT

 

September 29, 2020 – Lawmen in Hanover arrested and charged a bar operator for breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act on Monday, September 28.

 

Accused is Jason Green of Lances Bay, Hanover.

 

Reports are that Green was warned several times for his non-compliance under the act. He was subsequently arrested and charged.

 

He was fined JMD 200,000 or three months imprisonment when he appeared in the Hanover Parish Court.
