
‘BLOODSTAIN’ CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF PROHIBITED WEAPON ETAL
Forty-year-old Courtney Ashley, otherwise called ‘Bloodstain,’ a businessman of Penbrook Avenue, Marverly, Kingston 20, and Phoenix Park Village 2, Portmore, St. Catherine, was captured and formally charged on Monday, January 12.
Reports from the Portmore Police are that at about 9:00 p.m., a team of police on operation went to Bloodstain’s second address in search of him as he was wanted in relation to several matters. He was seen ,apprehended and whilst being taken into custody, he reportedly gave permission for a search of his cell phone to be conducted. The search revealed a conversation about selling a firearm.
Prior and further investigations led to the charges of Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Dealing in Firearm Without License, Aiding and Abetting, and Seeking Benefit Through Professing to have Firearm.
His court date is being finalised.
