‘BROWN MAN’ CHARGED WITH MURDER
Thirty-one-year-old Troy Dennis, otherwise called ‘Brown Man’, a higgler of Belvedere district, Red Hills, St Andrew, has been charged with Murder, Using a Firearm to commit a Felony, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, following an incident at Belvedere Road, Red Hills, in the parish, on Monday, August 28, 2023.
Dead is 52-year-old Ismael Seymour, a businessman of East Avenue, Greenwich Farm, Kingston 13.
Reports are that at about 9:30 a.m., the now deceased visited a woman’s house where he confronted her about her relationship with Dennis, who she had locked inside the room. He then physically assaulted the woman after she had given him a conflicting story, resulting in her fleeing. Several gunshots were then heard, and Dennis was seen leaving the scene with two firearms.
The police were summoned, and upon their arrival, they discovered the body of the now deceased at the back of the premises with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and face. The scene was processed.
On Thursday, April 10, Dennis turned himself in. He was then interviewed on Tuesday, April 15, in the presence of his attorney and was later charged.
His court date is being finalised.
