
‘BUNDOG’ SLAPPED WITH MULTIPLE CHARGES
Murder, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorised Possession of Ammunition and Making use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony are charges that have been laid against a man following the shooting death of 27-year-old Rohan Smith, otherwise called ‘Alvin,’ at his home in Raphael Avenue, Kingston 13, on Sunday, March 02.
Charged is 25-year-old Nicoye Waldron, otherwise called ‘Bundog,’ of Walker crescent, Kingston 11.
Reports from the Trench Town Police are that at about 4:10 a.m., Smith was awakened by a knock on his door. He reportedly went to make checks and was attacked by Waldron and his accomplices, who opened several shots at him. The men then made their escape in the area. Following the shooting, the police were alerted, and on their arrival, Smith was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Further investigation into the matter led to Waldron being taken into custody. He was subsequently charged after a statement implicating him was recorded.
His court date is being finalised.
