BUS CONDUCTOR CHARGED WITH UNAUTHORISED POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with Unauthorised Possession of Ammunition following an incident along Oxford Road, Spanish Town, St. Catherine, on Monday, December 29.

He is Greg Wilson, a bus conductor of Cinnamon Crescent, Kingston.

Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that at about 11:25 a.m., a police team intercepted a white Toyota Axio motorcar that was travelling along Oxford Road. The vehicle was searched, and a plastic bottle containing five .40 cartridges was found inside.

Wilson was arrested and taken into custody. He was subsequently charged after a question-and-answer session.

His court date is being finalised.
