Twenty-five-year-old Romain Bell, a farmer of Hazard Drive, May Pen, in Clarendon, has been charged with the Murder of his brother, 28-year-old Kemroy Brown, a labourer of said address, following a dispute in their community on Friday, January 24.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that at about 1:47 p.m., Bell and Brown went to visit their mother’s home when an argument developed between them that got physical. It is alleged that Brown pulled a knife and stabbed Bell multiple times. Bell took the said knife and stabbed Brown; hence both men received serious injuries. They were taken to the hospital, where Brown died whilst being treated and Bell was treated and released.
He turned himself into the police, where he was arrested and charged on Monday, January 27, following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being finalised.
