From humble beginnings, DSP Cain found inspiration in the unwavering example of two Special Constables. Their encouragement ignited a spark within him, leading him to join the JCF in March 1987 at the age of 18, fresh from high school. His early posting at King’s House marked the commencement of a distinguished career, further amplified by his over two decades of service within the Protective Service Division. In this critical role, he served on the front lines, safeguarding national figures while remaining deeply committed to the communities he hailed from.
DSP Cain’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping and guiding the professional development of many of the people he has mentored and coached, over the years. He has witnessed the JCF’s evolution – embracing technological advancements that enhance public service and championing training and development initiatives that foster a competent and motivated workforce. His belief in the bright future of the JCF stems from the calibre of its leadership and the competence of its members, driven by a shared commitment to serve Jamaica well.
Beyond his professional achievements, DSP Cain’s legacy extends to his profound impact on youth. He has tirelessly uplifted young people, guiding them towards promising futures within the JCF and other organizations. Currently serving as Zone Commander for the St. Catherine North Division, to include Riversdale Police Station, DSP Cain’s commitment to his community remains steadfast.
