ELECTRICIAN CHARGED WITH BREACHES OF THE FIREARMS ACT AND UNLAWFUL WOUNDING

Thirty-year-old Vinwell Radlyn, otherwise called ‘Tank Weld,’ an electrician of Sunbury district, in Clarendon, has been charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unlawful Wounding following an incident in his community on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Reports from the Mandeville Police are that Radlyn and a man were among patrons at an event in the community when a dispute developed between the two. It was alleged that Radlyn pulled a firearm from his waistband and used it to hit the man on the top of his head, causing a wound that bled. The man reportedly made his escape and reported the matter to the police, who assisted him to the hospital for treatment.

On Thursday, January 01, Radlyn was arrested and subsequently charged based on a statement recorded implicating him.

His court date is being finalised.
