FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZED IN GUYS HILL, ST CATHERINE
A 9mm Taurus pistol affixed with a magazine containing seventeen 9mm rounds was seized by the Guys Hill Police along the Guys Hill main road in St Catherine on Sunday, March 30.
Reports are that at about 1:30 a.m., a team was on patrol in the area when an explosion was heard. They proceeded to the area to conduct an investigation, and on their arrival, they observed a man running away. A chase ensued during which the man dropped a brown bag along the roadway before escaping. The bag was retrieved and searched, and the firearm and ammunition were found within and seized.
Investigation continues.
