FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZED IN KINGSTON WEST
The Kingston West Proactive Investigations Unit (P.I.U) seized a firearm and ammunition during an operation on Ramsey Road, Trench Town, in the parish on Monday, May 5.
Reports from the police are that between 11:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., lawmen were conducting a search at a premise in the area when one 9mm pistol with six 9mm rounds of ammunition was found hidden in between a piece of board and zinc.
No arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
Investigations continue.
