FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION SEIZED IN ST. ELIZABETH
The St. Elizabeth Police seized three firearms and thirty-nine assorted rounds of ammunition and arrested several persons, including a woman, during an early-morning operation in Warminster in the parish on Wednesday, February 26.
Reports from the Black River Police are that at about 2:00 a.m., the lawmen conducted a series of operations in the area. A submachine gun, a shotgun, and one 9mm Jimenez pistol were seized, along with twenty-six 9mm rounds and thirteen 12-gauge cartridges.
Five men and a woman were taken into custody in relation to the find.
The investigation continues.
