
FIVE CHARGED FOLLOWING MAJOR ST. ANN GUN BUST
Detectives attached to the St. Ann Policing Division have laid gun-related charges upon five individuals following an intelligence-led operation in Parry Town, Ocho Rios, in the parish, on Monday, November 24.
Charged for the offences of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (2 counts), Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition (2 counts), and Dealing in a Prohibited Weapon (2 counts) are:
· Thirty-six-year-old Joshua Hudson, otherwise called ‘Jashi,’
· Eighteen-year-old Aliah Hall and
· Forty-year-old Ochane Munroe, all of a Parry Town address
Charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition is 31-year-old Elizabeth Marsh of Gayle, St. Mary, while 30-year-old Travis Newman was charged with Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, Illicit Dealing in Ammunition and Stock Piling Ammunition.
Reports are that lawmen conducted operations at two premises in the community occupied by the accused. A Springfield .45 pistol along with a magazine and thirty-three rounds of .45 ammunition and a Gamo Swarm Maxim G2 air rifle were seized at the first location. A search of the second premises yielded a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and eighty-seven 9mm rounds.
A court date for the persons charged is being arranged.
