A 26-year-old gym operator was charged with Rape and Grievous Sexual Assault committed at a gym on Hagley Park Road, Kingston 10 on Wednesday, June 23.
Charged is Howard Griffiths of Harbour View, Kingston 17.
Reports are that a woman went to Griffiths’ fitness centre as he had allegedly promised to employ her. Whilst there, he allegedly sexually assaulted and raped her. A report was made to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA), and an investigation commenced.
Griffiths was subsequently charged on Wednesday, June 30.
His court date is being finalised.
