HANOVER MAN FACING GUN-RELATED AND ASSAULT CHARGES
Assault at Common Law and Possession of Prohibited Weapon are charges that have been laid upon 25-year-old Doshane Brown, otherwise called ’Brown,’ of Montpelier, Sandy Bay, Hanover, following an incident in his community on Sunday, July 27.
Reports from the Green Island Police are that at about 1:00 a.m., Brown and another man had an altercation during which he pointed a firearm at the man. The man reportedly escaped and later reported the incident to the police.
On Monday, July 28, Brown was arrested during an operation and was subsequently charged.
A court date for him is being arranged.
