ILLEGAL HAITIAN NATIONALS ARRESTED
Twenty-three Haitian nationals are facing deportation after being brought into police custody following an incident at a premises in Harbour View, Kingston 17, on Thursday, December 11.
Reports indicate that at about 5:30 a.m., lawmen were investigating reports of illicit activity being conducted in the area where a search of a premises was conducted. The Haitian nationals, consisting of eleven women, nine men, and three boys, were found. They were taken into custody and processed by the Kingston Eastern Divisional Intelligence Unit (DIU).
The group has since been handed over to the Passport Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) Office for further investigations.
