JAMAICA CONSTABULARY FORCE OUTSHINES COMPETITION AT 2026 SAGICOR SIGMA CORPORATE RUN

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) took centre stage at the 28th Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run, held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, as it outpaced and outnumbered competitors to dominate one of Jamaica’s most prestigious charity sporting events.

Fielding a formidable team of over 900 participants, the JCF showcased an extraordinary spirit of unity, discipline, and organisational pride, reinforcing its commitment to being a Force for Good. From the starting line, awash in the signature blue of their eye-catching ensemble, to the finish, the Force made an indelible mark on the “Run for the West” event, leaving no doubt about its commitment to both excellence and community upliftment.

Team JCF’s performance was nothing short of stellar, bringing home a suite of top honours:

  • Best Male Corporate Group
  • Best Female Corporate Group
  • Largest Number of Entrants
  • Reigning champion of the Best T-Shirt Competition

These accolades are more than symbolic; rather, they are a testament to the JCF’s steadfast commitment to its culture of excellence that extends well beyond the beat.

Securing both the Best Male and Best Female Corporate Group titles underscored the Force’s commitment to balance and equality, with male and female members alike showcasing the perseverance, teamwork, and focus that are hallmarks of outstanding law enforcement and community service.

Equally compelling was the award for Largest Number of Entrants that further highlighted a shared vision and collective drive within the organisation. Officers, civilian staff, and supporters moved as one, united not only by a commitment to wellness and health but by a spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose, all in support of a worthy cause benefiting Western Jamaica.

Another monumental honour was receiving the coveted Best T-Shirt Competition award for the second consecutive year.

The winning design, produced by the Force’s own Graphics team at the Constabulary Communications Network, featured strategically placed blocks that symbolised the Force’s pledge to “rebuild the west, brick by brick,” especially the schools and communities set to benefit from the initiative. This visual statement was powerfully portrayed by the sea of matching shirts along the course, reinforcing the JCF’s role as active agents of positive change and restoration.

By defending its title, capturing top group honours, and fielding the largest contingent, the Jamaica Constabulary Force has once again demonstrated that excellence is best achieved collectively. Brick by brick, step by step, Team JCF continues to build not only stronger bodies and stronger bonds, but also stronger, more resilient communities across Jamaica.
