Sleuths attached to the St. Andrew South Police Division have charged 39-year-old Neville Bartley, otherwise known as ‘Blackman,’ a vendor of Tavares Garden, Kingston 13, following a snap raid that was conducted in the community on Thursday, February 13.
Bartley has been charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition.
Reports from the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are that on the date mentioned above at about 8:30p.m., lawmen conducted a snap raid in the Tavares Garden community where they searched the dwelling of Bartley, and the firearm was found and seized.
Bartley was transported to the station and was subsequently charged after a caution statement.
A court date for him is being finalized.
