KINGSTON CARPENTER FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES

Twenty-seven-year-old Mickale Haye, otherwise called ‘Prezzi’, a carpenter of Molynes Road, Kingston 19, has been charged with Shooting with Intent, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of Prohibited Ammunition following an incident on Molynes Road on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that on the day of the incident, Haye, armed with a handgun, approached a vendor in the area. Haye allegedly ordered the complainant to leave the area. When the complainant refused, Haye reportedly pointed the firearm at him. The complainant ran, and Haye opened gunfire in his direction. The complainant escaped without injury, and Haye fled the scene on foot.

On Monday, August 18, 2025, Haye turned himself in to the police in the company of his attorney. He was charged following a statement and an interview.

His court date is being finalised.
