KINGSTON HIGGLER FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES
A 36-year-old Kingston higgler has been charged with Disorderly Conduct and Abusive and Calumnious Language following an incident on Brooks Avenue, May Pen, in Clarendon on Monday, August 18.
She is Judiann Newby of a Kingston 13 address.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that at about 2:00p.m., Newby went to collect items that were seized from her earlier by the Municipal Corporation, when she started to behave in a loud and aggressive manner. She was approached by the police, during which she started uttering expletives at the lawmen.
Newby was warned against this but continued. She was informed by the lawmen of the offences and was subsequently charged.
Her court date is being finalised.
