KINGSTON MEN CHARGED WITH MURDER
A Murder charge has been laid against two brothers following the stabbing death of 43-year-old Kirkland Allen at his business establishment on Mark Lane, Kingston, on Wednesday, July 23.
Charged are:
- 40-year-old Davril Simpson, otherwise called ‘Jerdy,’ an automotive technician of Crayne Close, Kingston 8, and
- 34-year-old Darryl Simpson, otherwise called ‘Ghamore,’ a customer care agent of Half Way Tree Road, Kingston 10, and Manning Hill Road, Kingston 8.
Reports from the Central Police are that at about 12:30 p.m., Allen was outside his business establishment when an altercation developed between him and the accused men. It is reported that Allen ended the argument abruptly and returned inside his establishment but was pursued by Davril and Darryl, who continued arguing. Shortly after, both accused men were seen exiting the building. Allen’s body was later discovered in a pool of blood with an abdominal wound. He was assisted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Davril and Darryl were arrested after a report was made to the police. They were subsequently charged on Friday, July 25, following further investigation.
Their court date is being finalised.
