MAJOR GANJA SEIZURE IN NORTHAMPTON DISTRICT, ST ELIZABETH
Lawmen attached to the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) seized and destroyed over One Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (1500 lbs) of ganja during an operation on Thursday, June 05, between the hours of 10am and 1:00p.m., in the Northampton district, St Elizabeth.
Reports are that the lawmen conducted a snap operation on the date mentioned, which resulted in the seizure. The ganja was found cut and placed in a field to dry. The lawmen subsequently destroyed the contraband. No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.
The investigation is ongoing.
