MAN CHARGED WITH BREACHES OF THE FIRARM ACT

 Twenty-four-year-old Kevroy Malcolm otherwise called ‘KJ’, a construction worker of Rose Hall, Race Track in Clarendon has been slapped with several charges following an incident in Rose Hall, New Denbigh in the parish on Saturday, September 28.

Malcolm was charged with, Shooting with Intent, Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, Using a Prohibited Weapon to Commit a Felony.

Reports from the May Pen Police are that about at 6:00 a.m., a man was at his home when Malcolm and his accomplice pounced upon him. Malcolm pulled a firearm and pointed it at the complainant then a tussle ensued. Malcolm opened gunfire at the complainant who managed to escape unhurt.

A report was made to the police and an investigation commenced. On Thursday, October 10, lawmen conducted an operation in the Race Course Area where Grant was arrested and subsequently charged. A court date for him is being finalised.
