The Kingston East Police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Franklin Rose, otherwise called ‘Bwoyo’ or ‘Frankie’, of Fernandez Road in Kingston 16, with Possession of Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition at his home on Sunday, February 18.
Reports are that about 5:00 p.m., a joint Police/military operation was conducted in the area when a premises was searched, and a Glock 19 pistol with a magazine containing eleven 9mm rounds of ammunition was seized in a cabinet within the bathroom.
He was subsequently arrested and charged in the presence of his Attorney during a question-and-answer session.
His court date is being finalised.
