Man Charged with Robbery with Aggravation

Twenty-nine-year-old Afabia Baker, bus driver of Inverness drive, Sandy Bay, Clarendon has been charged with Robbery with Aggravation following an incident on West Street, Old Harbour, St Catherine on Sunday, July 7.

Reports from the Old Harbour Police are that around 3:30 p.m., Baker and his armed accomplice entered the complainant’s bar. They proceeded to steal the sum of Four Hundred and Twenty Nine Thousand Dollars ($429,000.00 JMD) and a cell phone. They then made good their escape on foot in the area. Baker was arrested on Saturday August 3; and was subsequently charged following a question-and-answer session later that day.

His court date is being arranged.
