Manchester Labourer Charged with Murder

The Manchester Police have 21-year-old Andre Williams, a labourer of Hillside district, Knockpatrick, Manchester with the murder of a man in Albion district, May Day in the parish on Monday, August 12.

Dead is 27-year-old Brian Samuels a labourer of Albion district, May Day, Manchester.

Along with the murder of Samuels— Williams was also charged with possession of prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition and using a firearm to commit a felony.

Reports are that about 6:20 p.m., Samuels was at home when he was pounced upon by Williams and another man who opened fire hitting him several times. The police were alerted, and, on their arrival, Samuels was seen with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation into this incident, Williams was arrested. He was charged on Saturday, September 14 after he underwent an interview session in the presence of his attorney.

Williams’ court date has not been finalised and his accomplice is currently being sought by the police.
