MANCHESTER MEN FACED WITH MULTIPLE CHARGES
Two Manchester men have been charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Assault at Common Law and Unlawful Wounding following an incident in Bottom Bay, Alligator Pond, Manchester, on Wednesday, August 20.
They are 28-year-old Rayvohn Barrant of Bottom Bay, Alligator Pond, Manchester, and 30-year-old Abasi Williams, a mason of Alligator Pond district, Manchester.
Reports from the Mandeville Criminal Investigations Branch (C.I.B.) are that at about 10:00 p.m., Barrant and Williams went to a man’s house, where a dispute developed between them. Barrant then pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the man while Williams started to hit him several times over his body. Barrant also used the firearm to hit him several times all over his body, causing wounds which bled. A report was made to the police, and an investigation was launched.
On Thursday, August 21, the men were arrested and subsequently charged. Their court date is being finalised.
