OVER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION SEIZED IN KINGSTON 7
One hundred and forty-four assorted rounds of ammunition were seized by the police during a joint police-military operation in Gold Smith Villa, Kingston 7, on Friday, April 10.
Reports from the Half-Way-Tree Police are that between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., a team conducted an operation at a premises in the area. During a search a brown shopping bag was observed in the pocket of a building block of a house. It was retrieved and found to contain one hundred and fourteen 9mm and thirty .38 rounds.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
