‘PIRATE’ CHARGED WITH WOUNDING WITH INTENT

Sixty-nine-year-old labourer Wellesly Sinclair, otherwise known as ‘Pirate’ of Three Miles River, Frome, Westmoreland, has been charged with Wounding with intent following an incident in his community on Monday, June 30.

Reports from the Frome Police are that at about 5:15 p.m., Sinclair brandished a knife and held it at a man’s throat during an argument at a bar in the area. The man managed to escape his hold with only a cut to his arm and ran from the bar to avoid further injury.
