PUMP ATTENDANT CHARGED WITH UNLAWFUL WOUNDING

Lawmen attached to the Clarendon Policing Division have arrested and charged a pump attendant with Unlawful Wounding following an incident on Main Street, May Pen, Clarendon, on Monday, August 18.

She is 32-year-old Latoya Garwood of Threadlight district in the parish.

Reports from the May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are that at about 10:30a.m., Garwood and a man were involved in an argument, during which she hit the man on his right arm, causing a wound that bled. A report was made to the police, and an investigation ensued.

Garwood was later pointed out by the man, and she was subsequently arrested and charged based on the complainant’s statement.

A court date for her is being finalised.
