‘SPRAGGA’ FACING GUN-RELATED CHARGES
Assault at Common Law and Using a Firearm to Commit a Schedule Offence are charges that have been laid against 27-year-old Lamoy Phillips, otherwise known as ‘Spragga’ of George’s Plain, Westmoreland, following an incident in his community on Monday, April 28.
Reports from the Frome Police are that at about 7:45 p.m., Phillips had a dispute with a woman during which he pulled a firearm from his waistband and pointed it at her. The woman later made a report to the police.
On Monday, May 5, Phillips handed himself over to the police and was subsequently charged.
His court date is being arranged.
