Twenty-one-year-old Jesse Mclauren, otherwise ‘Jessie James,’ a carpenter of Mudyford Road, Olympic Gardens, Kingston 11, was slapped with several charges following an incident on Condall Terrace, Kingston 11, on Monday, February 10.
He was charged with Malicious Destruction of Property, Possession of Prohibited weapons, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, Using a Firearm to commit a Felony, Shooting with intent and Wounding with Intent.
Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that at about 10:30 a.m., Mclauren reportedly pointed a firearm in the direction of two men and opened gunfire, hitting one of them and causing damage to a motor vehicle before escaping in the area.
Mclauren was later arrested and charged following a question-and-answer interview in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being arranged.
