St. Catherine Man Charged with Rape

Eighteen-year-old Romeno Mowatt of Greater Portmore, St. Catherine has been charged with Rape following an incident in the parish on Thursday, August 8.

Reports from the Greater Portmore police are that between the hours of 10:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m., Mowatt entered the victim’s house through an open door and held the victim down on her bed and sexually assaulted her. He was arrested after he was pointed by the victim and subsequently charged following an interview.

A court date is being arranged for him.
