A St. Mary couple has been charged with the Sunday, November 19 murder of 31-year-old Romaine Chin, a handyman of Main Street, Ocho Rios in St Ann.
They are:
· Twenty-three-year-old Damion Thompson, a fisherman of Mansfield Heights, Ocho Rios St. Ann and Cox Street in Port Maria, St Mary.
· Twenty-seven-year-old Felicia Brown of Cox Street in Port Maria, St Mary
Reports are that about 1:10 a.m., the couple was along DaCosta Drive when Chin came to the location. An argument reportedly developed between Chin and the woman, and her partner intervened and used a knife to stab Chin several times. Chin was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
A report was made to the police and on Sunday, November 26, they were subsequently charged. A court date is being finalised.
