TECHNICIAN CHARGED WITH LARCENY SIMPLE LARCENY AND RECEVING STOLEN PROPERTY
Forty-six-year-old Jerome Dalhouse, a technician of Lincoln Avenue, Kingston 13, has been charged with Simple Larceny and Receiving Stolen Property following an incident in Maggotty, St Elizabeth, on Friday, March 14.
Reports from the Black River Police are that between the hours of 12 midnight and 8:30 a.m., a container bar was broken into where two poker boxes and liquors were stolen. The value of the items stolen is estimated to be 1,021,000.00 JMD. The owner of one of the poker boxes tracked the box to a bar owned and operated by Dalhouse on Lincoln Avenue. He then sought the assistance of the police, and the poker boxes were recovered.
Dalhouse was taken into custody and was subsequently charged on Thursday, March 20, for the offences.
His court date is being arranged.
