Three St. Catherine Men and One Teen facing Gun Charges
Detectives attached to the St. Catherine North Policing Division have arrested and charged three men and a teen all of Crawle district, Riversdale St. Catherine with Possession of Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorised Possession of Ammunition following an incident in the community on Thursday, September 5.
They are:
- 19-year-old Jakeem Barrows
- 18-year-old Danville Samules otherwise known as ‘Ratty’
- 26-year-old Geraldo Simpson and a teen all of Crawle district, St. Catherine.
Reports from the lawmen are that on the date mentioned above they conducted a targeted raid at the premises of Simpson where a 9mm pistol and eleven 9mm rounds of ammunition were found in a toilet tank in the house.
The men were arrested in relation to the seizure. They were officially charged on Friday, September 13 after a question-and-answer session in the presence of their attorneys.
A court date for the men and teen is being finalised.
