‘TWINNY’ CHARGED FOR 2023 MURDER
Detectives assigned to the Manchester Policing Division have charged 34-year-old Kemar Levy, otherwise called ‘Twinny’, chef of Tavares Garden, Kingston 11, and Greenvale district, Manchester, with Murder, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition and Using a firearm to commit a Felony following an incident in the parish on Friday, April 7, 2023.
Dead is 42-year-old Peter Clarke, otherwise called ‘Guh Suh’ and ‘John’, bar owner, also of a Manchester address.
Reports from the Mandeville Police are that at about 08:01 p.m., Clarke was at a party in the area when he was pounced upon by Levy, who opened gunfire at him before escaping the area on foot. The police were summoned, and on their arrival, Clarke was seen lying face down in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Following an intense investigation, Levy was apprehended during a targeted raid at a premise on December 27, 2024, and subsequently charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being finalised.
