TWO FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION SEIZED IN KINGSTON WEST
The Kingston West Police seized two firearms and ammunition during an operation on Victoria Street and Albert Street, Denham Town, in the parish on Wednesday, May 7.
Reports from the police are that between 10:56 a.m. and 12:01 p.m., lawmen acting on information conducted snap raids at premises on Victoria Street and Albert Street, where a black Taurus 9mm pistol with a magazine affixed containing three 9mm cartridges was found hidden in an old refrigerator on Victoria Street and a silver Browning 9mm pistol with an empty magazine was found hidden at the side of a house on Albert Street.
No arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
Investigations continue.
