The Constant Spring Police have arrested and charged a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old for the murder of 39-year-old Christopher Plummer, which occurred along Constant Spring Terrace in St. Andrew on Sunday, April 30.
Reports from the Police are that about 2:15 a.m., Plummer, a taxi operator, picked up the two juveniles and another man at Constant Spring Terrace. The three reportedly attempted to rob Plummer. During the robbery attempt, he was shot. Plummer allegedly attempted to drive away but lost control of the vehicle, which ran off the road into a ditch. The teens escaped in the area.
Citizens called the Police when they heard the sounds from the crash. On arrival of the Police, Plummer was seen in his car in the ditch.
The juveniles were arrested during two intelligence-led operations on Sunday, May 1 and Tuesday, May 3. They were formally charged on May 7, 2022.
Their court dates are being finalised.
