‘VERSACE GAAD’ FACES LARCENY AND MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY CHARGES

Twenty-eight-year-old Jaki Pessoa, otherwise called ‘Versace Gaad’ of Grove, Cedar Valley, St. Thomas, has been charged with Larceny of Motor Vehicle and Malicious Destruction of Property in relation to a motorcar theft on Maxfield Avenue, Kingston, on Friday, April 18.

Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that at about 10:45 a.m., the complainants parked and securely locked their motor vehicle on a church compound and went to worship. They later returned to discover that the motor vehicles had been damaged and one stolen. A report was made to the police, and an investigation was launched.

Pessoa was found in possession of the stolen motorcar a silver 2014 Subaru Impreza G4 in White Horse St Thomas. It was seized, and he was taken into custody, where he was charged on Friday, May 09, following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being finalised.
