WATER SPORTS MANAGER CHARGED AFTER AC THEFT 

Thirty-six-year-old water sports manager Oshayne Lawrence of Mountain district, Great River, St James has been charged with Simple Larceny following the theft of several AC Units from a resort in the parish between Wednesday, November 26 and Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that an audit at the property led to the discovery that nine units valued at $749,146.79 JMD were missing from the storage area.  A review of CCTV footage revealed that between the aforementioned period Lawrence along with his co-accused removed several units without authorisation.

A report was made to the police and an investigation launched into the matter.

Lawrence was later seen on the compound removing a box from his vehicle. He was approached and checks confirmed that the box contained one of the stolen units.

Lawrence turned himself in to the police in the presence of his attorney on Thursday, April 09 after his co-accused Jahabrie Clarke and Tevin Simpson were charged.

His court date is being finalised.
