WANTED MAN CAPTURED IN ST ANDREW SOUTH

Lawmen assigned to the St Andrew South Police Division have captured a wanted man following an intelligence-driven operation at a premises along Delano Avenue in Kingston 11 on Friday, June 19.

Reports indicate that between the hours of 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m., police teams from the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, Specialised Operation (SO), Area Fugitive Apprehension Team (AFAT) and Divisional Intelligence Unit (DIU) visited the premises where Michail ‘Miguel’ Wright, who is wanted for Assault at Common Law and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and was also featured on JCF’s Wanted Wednesdays campaign on February 26, 2026, was apprehended.

The St Andrew South Police is committed to proactive policing and the pursuit of known and unknown criminal elements who continue to disrupt the peace.
