
48-Hour Curfew Imposed in St Andrew South Policing Division
A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the St Andrew South Policing Division. The curfew will commence from 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
East- From an imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue travelling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive.
South- From Marcus Garvey Drive, vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River.
West- From the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbour.
North- From Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue intersection.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authourised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
