
CURFEW IMPOSED IN SECTIONS OF ST. ANDREW NORTH DIVISION
A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the St. Andrew North Police Division. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 12 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
Iron River District in Stony Hill:
North – From the Western boundary with an imaginary to Top Road, Iron River, St. Andrew, about 675 metres.
East – From Top Road, Iron River, St. Andrew to Iron River Square, about 203 metres.
South – From Iron River Square to the intersection of Iron River main road and Mount Airy Road, about 560 metres.
West – From the intersection of Mount Airy Road and Iron River main Road to the northern boundary, about 114 metres.
The boundaries of the curfew for Park and 100 Lane Red Hills Road are:
North – From the intersection with Red Hills Road and Pennant Terrace to the intersection of Pennant Drive and Pennant Terrace about 219 meters.
East – Along Pennant Drive from the intersection with Pennant Terrace to the intersection with Whitehall Avenue about 261 meters.
South – Along Whitehall Avenue from the intersection with Pennant Drive to the intersection with Red Hills Road about 370 meters.
West – Along Red Hills Road from the intersection with Whitehall Avenue to the intersection with Pennant Terrace about 315 meters.
The boundaries of the curfew for Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring are:
North – From the cul-de-sac of Author Leon Drive with an imaginary line to the Carpenter’s Memorial United Brethren in Christ Church, Golden Spring, about 586 metres.
East – From the Carpenter’s Memorial United Brethren in Christ Church to the Golden Spring main road, about 24.73 metres.
South – From the Eastern boundary along Golden Spring Road to the intersection of Golden Spring Road and Arthur Leon Drive in a distance of 263 metres.
West – From the intersection of Arthur Leon Drive and Golden Spring Road to the cul de sac of Author Leon Drive, about 431 metres.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
