Twenty-nine-year-old Alphanso Mason otherwise called ‘Tall Man’, a truck driver of Battersea district, New Green, Manchester was slapped with several charges following an incident in his community on Tuesday, January 09.
Mason was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised use of premises to store a firearm, unauthorised use of premises to store ammunition, and unauthorised possession of ammunition.
Reports from the Mandeville Police are that about 6:00 a.m., lawmen carried out an operation at a premises that was occupied by Mason, where one AR15 assault rifle and seven 5.56 rounds of ammunition were found in his possession. He was subsequently taken into custody was charged after he was interviewed in the presence of his attorney.
A court date for him has not been finalised.
