ST. CATHERINE MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER
Lawmen assigned to the St. Catherine North division recently charged 27-year-old Joel Needham, truck driver and sales representative of Golden Grove District, Golden Valley P.O., St Catherine, with Murder following an incident in his community on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
Dead is 22-year-old Joel Walker, farmer of Golden Grove district, Golden Valley P.O., St Catherine.
Reports from the Guys Hill police are that at about 1:30 p.m., an argument occurred between Walker and a relative of Needham. Needham intervened in the dispute and used his Toyota Probox to hit Walker, inflicting severe injuries. Walker was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Following an investigation, Needham was apprehended and charged.
His court date is being finalised.
