KINGSTON MAN SLAPPED WITH GUN-RELATED CHARGES
Twenty-year-old Iron Montague of Phase 2 Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11, has been charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Using a Firearm to Commit a Felony and Assault at Common Law in relation to an incident at his home on Saturday, April 10.
Reports from the Hunts Bay Police are that at about 2:30 p.m., Montague was at the address with a woman and her boyfriend. An argument developed between the two men, and the woman intervened in a bid to quell the dispute. Montague pulled a firearm, pointed it at the woman and threatened her before escaping in the area.
The matter was reported to the police, and Montague was charged on Monday, May 14, while being in custody for a separate charge.
The investigation continues.
