SALES REPRESENTATIVE FACES FIREARM AND ASSAULT CHARGES
Nineteen-year-old Nickedo Dennis, otherwise called ‘Tee,’ a sales representative of Pullet Lane, Petersfield, Westmoreland, has been charged following an incident in Top Dalling Street, Savanna-la-Mar, in the parish on Sunday, August 17.
He has been charged with Assault at Common Law, Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm and Using a Firearm to Commit a Scheduled Offence.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that at about 1:00 a.m., Dennis was at a wake when he got into an argument with a man. During the confrontation Dennis pulled a firearm and pointed it at the man while threatening to kill him. He then used the firearm to hit the man in his face, causing bruising and swelling under his left eye. The incident was reported to the police shortly after.
Dennis turned himself in to the police later that day. He was charged on Monday, August 18, based on statements recorded.
A court date for him is being arranged.
